  Notes	Vermell Brust, 90, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas. Vermell was born in Sabine County, Texas on March 5, 1928 to Charles Ernest Anderson and Bertie Harvey Anderson. She worked as as bookkeeper for Fireman's Fund Insurance until her retirement in 1993. Vermell lived in Dallas for many years before returning to Sabine County in 2002. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and also a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and of the Eastern Star. As a hobby, she enjoyed genealogy for many years. She is survived by her sons, William Brust and wife, Deanna, of Hemphill, Texas and John Brust of Winnsboro, Texas; daughter-in-law, Cheri Brust; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis George Brust, Jr. and her son, Louis George Brust III. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, October 5, 2018 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services and Eastern Star services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow services in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
