  Notes	From FindAGrave: L. C. Eddins was born August 28, 1913 in Rimlig, Texas, a sawmill town in Sabine County south of Jasper. He was the son of Larkin Chivers Eddins, Sr. and William Hattie Tatum Eddins . He married Dorothy Collier on September 2, 1939 and they had five children, Dorothy, Faye, Nancy, Bobby and Billy. He was a truck driver for Texaco Company. He died of lung cancer on January 10, 1969, at the age of 55. Services were held at Mangum Chapel on January 12 with the Reverand S.E. Sevison officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park with Masonic graveside services held by Sam Samford Lodge No. 149. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Eddins of Center; three daughters, Dorothy Whiteman of Houston and Faye Huffman and Nancy Gilchrist of Center; two sons, Bobby and Billy Eddins of Center; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Eddins of Fort Worth; and four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Isom of Jasper, Mrs. Opal Hammock of Houston and Mrs. Lillie Lee and Mrs. Bernice McDonald of Fort Worth.
