    • According to the book "A Pictorial History of Sabine County, Texas," Ola Jean was a member of the Bronson High School girls basketball team from 1949 to 1952, as well as being a member of the Future Homemakers of America.

      Ola Jean Ford

      Ola Jean Ford, 74, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in Lufkin after an illness.

      She was born on July 26, 1934, and lived most of her life in Rosevine. She retired as a bank teller from the Pineland State Bank in Pineland. She worked as a bank teller in the First National Bank in Orange from 1965 through 1976 when she moved back to Rosevine from Orange.

      Survivors, son, Aston "Rusty" Ford of Gilmer; daughter, Karen BROWN of Rosevine; brothers, James Roland Fuller of Nacogdoches, David Fuller and H.D. "Junior" Fuller, both of Rosevine, and Dwain Fuller of Pasedena; sister, Mildred TONER of Rosevine; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 13 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosevine Cemetery in Rosevine.

      Services under the direction of Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill.
