  Notes	The Wise Co. Messenger -- Aug. 1964 Services Held for Elmer Williamson Elmer Williamson, 72, a lifelong resident of Wise County, died July 30 in a Decatur hospital. Funeral services were held August 1 in Alvord Church of Christ with J.E. Doggett officiating. Burial was in Alvord. Mr. Williamson was born at Greenwood March 8, 1892. He taught school for 25 years at Prarie Point, Roe, Greenwood and Rush Creek and served with the U.S. Post Office for 1928 to 1961. Survivors include his widow; one son, Delwin Williamson of Denton; two daughters, Mrs. Weldon McNeely of Shreveport and Mrs. Ray Helms of Dallas; four brothers, Luther Williamson of Ardmore, Jayson Williamson of Lubbock, Weaver Williamson of Pharr and Irvin Williamson of Lawton, Oklahoma and eight grandsons.
