Cherry Mound Cemetery, Bells, Grayson County, Texas
Notes
Presumably this name was mis-spelled by the enumerator, he wrote Manerva! The name of the Roman goddess of crafts, Minerva, correctly spelled, appears to have been a popular name at the time. Minerva and J.W. are listed as heirs of her mother's estate in Grayson County in 1871. They received a small parcel of land west of Sherman on the Gainsville Sherman road. Vol 38 pg 442-443-444. They're listed again on records in 1883 when the family sold her deceased father's land in Hill County, Texas.
