Gregory Mansel Daniels was born August 30, 1959, in Duncan, Oklahoma to the late Mr. George "Pete" Mansel Daniels and Mrs. Betty Jean (Gentry) Daniels. He departed from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at his home in Countyline. Greg was a Velma-Alma High School graduate, class of 1977. He married the love of his life, Judy (Galloway) Daniels on November 27, 1980 at Duncan, OK. Greg worked as a Well Service Operator for Kleen Oilfield Service. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Velma Golf Course Club. In his younger years Greg participated in rodeo as a bronc rider. He loved fishing and hunting especially for deer and turkey. Greg is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; daughter, Ashlie Driver and Joe McCormick of Velma; sister, Angela Daniels of Velma; grandchildren, Alysyn and Grayson Driver of Velma and Justice Daniels of Healdton; nephew, Travis Daniels of Massachusetts; numerous other family and friends. She will graduate this spring. Mr. Daniels graduated from Velma High School in 1943 and served three years with the U.S. Marines. He is now employed by the Nichols-Duncan Drilling Company.
