- Laura M. Dale, age 92, of Marlette, MI passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, September 29, 2019.
She was born July 18, 1927 in Decker, MI daughter of the late Orton and Catherine (Schwegler) Klinkman. Laura married Donald Dale November 17, 1945 in Marlette and they were married 54 years. She was an Elder at Second Presbyterian Church Marlette and a 4H Leader for Germania Silver Stars for over 30 years. Laura loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, canning, playing baseball, cards, and doing crossword and word search puzzles.
Laura is lovingly remembered by her children, Linwood (Elizabeth) Dale, Deanna (Tom) Stamp and Catherine (Jack) Nickens; 11 grandchildren, Jamie, Robert, Jonathan, Anthony, Marcus, Evy, Lisa, Laura, Michael, Mark and Matthew; 30 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Daniella and Steven Warner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dale May 14, 2000; grandson, Brian Stamp; granddaughter, Jodi Dale; siblings, Louise Agar, Margaret Beutler, Wilfred Klinkman and Charles Klinkman.
The family will receive visitors from 2 ? 8 PM Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and 10 AM Friday, October 4, 2019 at Second Presbyterian Church.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 4, 2019 at Second Presbyterian Church 2002 Wood Rd., Marlette, MI 48453 with Pastor Chris Wolf officiating.
Burial will follow at Germania Cemetery, Marlette Township, MI.
