  Notes	Sabine County Reporter April 18, 2007, page 14 Patsy Kelley Speights Patsy Kelley "Pat" Speights, 75, of Hemphill died at her residence, Wednesday, April 11, 2007. She was born June 7, 1931 in Houston. Her parents were William A. and Estelle Durham Kelley. In 1973 she and her husband, Drayton Speights, Jr. moved to the Hemphill area. After working many years for the Sabine County Appraisal District she retired in 1997. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mrs. Speights is survived by her cousins, Colleen HENCHEL and Collice HAWKINS of Nederland, Jimmie O'NEIL of Woodville, and J.L. HOUSTON of Houston. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Janis SPEIGHTS of Hemphill, Tom and Margie SPEIGHTS of Seattle, WA and Virginia and Frank CODAY of Hemphill. Also her cherished friend and caregiver, Ann LOUT of Bronson, as well as many loyal friends and her treasured pet, Annie. Funeral services were held April 14 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Shaddock officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville. Contributions may be mad to MDA/ALS Division-Houston; J.R. Huffman Public Library, Hemphill or Bethany Baptist Church, Milam.
