Randall was born in Hemphill, Texas in the Fairdale Community, to William Frank and Emily Nola Mitchell Smith. He was a retired maintenance worker for Temple Inland. Randall loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Carolyn Faye Smith of Bronson, his sons: Randy Smith and wife Mary of Houston, Jerry Lyle Huffman Jr. and Sally of Stafford, Texas, and John Lance Huffman of Houston, his daughter Joy Lynn Reavis and husband Philip of Kansas, his sisters: Jerri Fuller and husband Keith of Longview, and Donette Vines of Hemphill, his 3 grandchildren: Aleshia Huffman Wimpee and husband Matt, Jamie Reavis, and Joanna Reavis, and his great grandchild Max Wimpee. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, Saturday, January 2, 2016, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St. Hemphill, Texas. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2016, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
