  Notes	Margie Nell Morrison, 92, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her residence. She was born August 8, 1931 in Hemphill, Texas to John Henry Latham and Carmon Butler Latham. She was a longtime resident of Sabine County and was a graduate of Hemphill High School. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches where she earned her Bachelor's Degree and later earned her Master's Degree from Lamar University. She was a teacher for Hemphill ISD for 13 years and was a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church. She had always enjoyed sewing and flowers. Margie is survived by her sons, Michael McGraw and wife, Linda, of Hemphill, Joe Morrison of Long Beach, CA and James Patrick McGraw of Garland; brother, T. L. Latham and wife, Alice, of Hemphill; sister, Mildred Sloan of Houston; grandchildren, Mike Jr., Kellie and Daniel; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carmon Latham and her husbands, Harley Mac McGraw in 1953 and Jake Morrison in 2013. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas 75948. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Burial will follow services in Oak Hill Cemetery with Allan Stuart, Ryan Davis, Mason Hughes, Cade Sproggs, Brandon Linder and Kyle Butler serving as pallbearers.
