  Notes	A Celebration of Roy Wayne Isom's Life, age 76 of Jasper, Texas, will be 10:30am, Monday, May 3, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas, with a Rosary to be held at 7:00pm. Roy departed this earth to be with his Heavenly Father Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Texas. A native of Pineland, Texas and a lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, he was the Jasper High School Class President in 1963. He served in the United States Army before graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in accounting. Roy was a former member of the Jasper Noon Lions Club, also a former member of the Chamber of Commerce and he served on the Jasper School Board for many years. Roy is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Lenora Isom of Jasper, Texas; his sons, Christopher Isom & wife Christina of Burkburnett, Texas, Adrian Isom & wife Kortney of Jasper, Texas, Alan Isom of Jasper, Texas, and Maison Isom of Jasper, Texas; his daughter, Karen Kahla & husband Joe Glenn of Jasper, Texas; grandchildren, Haiden Isom, Ryan Isom, Breann Isom, Colten Isom, Jake Kahla, Jack Kahla, Colby Williams, KiLeigh Isom, Sydney Mallory, Alexis Isom, and Camron Isom. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Lillian Isom; and a sister, Betty Birdwell. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023. Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
