  Notes	Minnie Myrline Thomas, 98, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas. Myrline was born in Hemphill on September 11, 1922 to Carroll Lee Arnold and Myrtle Exa Bennett Arnold. She spent her life as a loving housewife and mother. She had lived in Humble, Texas for many years before moving back to Hemphill in 2017. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Humble. She is survived by her sister, Mattie Paul Green of Richardson, Texas; sister-in-law, Vernell Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lamar. A. Thomas; daughter, Betty Carolyn Thomas; and sister, Reba Arnold Foster. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Hemphill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Clint Yeary, Tommy Scales, Kenon Foster, Cane Yeary, William Lynch, and Kaleb McGee. Condolences can be made and guest book may be signed online at starrfuneralhome.com.
