  Notes	Kenneth I. Speight, 80, died Tuesday in the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital after an illness. K.I. was born in Negreet, LA, to Joseph and Leola Burke Speight. Kenneth served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After his service he moved to Hemphill where he has lived for the past 60 years. Kenneth was a drilling consultant in the oil fields. He is survived by his wife Betty Corley Speight of Hemphill, his son Kendall Speight of Chorpus Christi, his daughter Nora Joan Keeling of Hemphill and one brother Ellery Speight of Lake Charles, La. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his son Jonny Speight. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hemphill Cemetery, Hemphill, TX.
