      George M Haden, Life-Long Resident of Timpson, Succumbs
      Funeral Services WIll Be Held This Afternoon at Christian Church

      George M. Haden, 49, of Timpson, succumbed Saturday night about 9;15 o'clock at a hospital in Orange. The body was brought to Timpson Sunday afternoon and carried to the family residence. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Christian church. Rev. Pearce J. Burns and Rev. J. T. Howard will conduct rites. A military service will be conducted by members of the local post of the American Legion and World War veterans. Interment will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery.

      Mr. Haden was a life-long residen of TImpson, and was a sergeant of the infantry in World War I. He unite dwith the Christian church in early youth. For the past several months he had been employed at Orange; several days illness preceded his demise. The death of this estimable citizne is a source of much regret to his many friends.

      Mr. Haden is survived byh his his wife, Mrs. George M. Haden; two sons---William and Ferdinand, and two daughters, Misses Minette and Anita Ray of Timpson; two brothers--A.E. Haden of Shreveport and J. F. Haden of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. George Kennedy of Nacogdoches, Mrs. A. D. Scherz of Keatchie, La., and Miss Madian Haden of Nacogdoches.

      Active pallbearers will be members of the local post of the American Legion and other World War veterans.
