  Notes	Neasol Othell Powell, 91, of Brookeland, Texas passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Hemphill Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hemphill, Texas. Othell was born May 11, 1928 in Newton County to Loranza Alexander Phelps and Ola Hyden Phelps. She was a housewife and mother. She is survived by her daughters, Penny Reynolds and husband, Joe, of Bronson, Texas and Matilda Dickerson and husband, Jerry, of Pineland, Texas; brother, Lavon Phelps and wife, Dorothy, of Mayflower, Texas; grandchildren, Michael, Dee Ann, Joseph Ray, Barbie, Robert, and Roger; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mutt Powell; sons, Mutt Powell, Jr. and Zeke Powell; and daughter, Pat Willis. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Lynch officiating. Burial will follow services in Townsend Cemetery in San Augustine County. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Dee McClelland, Danny Gilbert, Bob Phelps, Jason Clegg, Benny Jacks, and Jerry Dan Webb.
