She was a former teacher with the Beaumont Independent School District. She is survived by two sons and one daughter; five grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
