She was a stay at home house wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Vickers of Milam, her sons: Mike Vickers and wife Crystal of Sexton, Vance Vickers and wife Johanna of Sexton, Rodolfo Martinez of Slidell, Louisiana and Edgar Martinez of Martinsville, Texas, her daughter Debbie Terry and husband Cooper of Longview, Texas, her brother Joe Lawson and wife Carolyn of Shelbyville, Texas, her sister Mary Vaughn of Longview and her eleven grandchildren: Collin, Connor, Carsen, Logan, Caleb, Laney, Cooper, Carter, Lawson, Tristan and Tatom. Visitation will be from 6~8pm Monday, October 17, 2016 in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11am, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Vickers Cemetery ~
