  Notes	Obituary Audrey E. Brandenburg, age 93, of Sebewaing, passed away early Sunday morning, October 5, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. Audrey was born on May 23, 1921 in Bad Axe, the daughter of the late Russell and Beatrice (Helwig) Erb. She married Fred "Brandy" Brandenburg on December 24, 1943 in Detroit. He preceded her in death in 1986. Audrey worked as a cook for many years at the USA Schools. She enjoyed playing cards in her Card Club, baking pies and canning. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Jerry Brandenburg of Twin Lake, Jim Brandenburg of Sebewaing and Pam (James) Pryor of Caro; grandchildren: Jason (Megan) Brandenburg, Major Jeffery Brandenburg, Nathan Brandenburg, Jamie Brandenburg, Brian (Ashley) Brandenburg, Nicole Badour, Ryan Badour, Taylor Pryor and Tanner Pryor; great grandchildren: Tessa Brandenburg, Jae Brandenburg, Adelyn Brandenburg, Elliot Brandenburg, Caleb Hugo, Gavin Hugo and Ava Badour. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred; and daughter, Cindy Badour in 1992. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Sebewaing. Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church. (Copied from her Find A Grave Memorial page)

Cass City Chronicle Vol. 15, No. 33 Friday, January 2, 1920 Page 1 Helwig-Erb Miss Beatrice Helwig, daughter of Mrs. Henry Helwig, and Russell Erb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Erb, of Elkton, were united in marriage at the M. E. parsonage in Cass City on Christmas Day. They were attended by Miss Flossie Erb, sister of the groom, and Harry Andrews. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's mother to a number of intimate friend and relatives. The young couple will make their home in Soule, Mich., where the bride is a teacher in the public shool.
