  Notes	Mildred Estelle Lamb, 84, of Geneva, Texas passed Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her residence. Millie was born in Geneva, Texas on August 14, 1933 to Edward and Lula McGown James. She was a member of Geneva Methodist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from Green Acres Group Home after 25 years as a caregiver. She is survived by her sons, Haley Arnold and wife, Linda, of Bridge City, Texas, Tommy Arnold of Geneva, Texas, and Vance Arnold of Hemphill, Texas; daughter, Sandy Carr and husband, Daryl, of Geneva, Texas; sisters, Ruby Dickerson of Yellowpine, Texas, Reba Cooper of Pineland, Texas, and Florine Pitre of Hemphill, Texas; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Arnold and grandson, Tommy Douglas Arnold, and brothers, Willard James, Ben James, Otis James, and Marvin James. Visitation for Mrs. Lamb will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Myrtle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home.
