  Notes	Laverne Adkison Craig, age 83, passed away Friday morning, June 18,2017 in the Shady Shores Nursing Home, Hemphill, Texas. She was born May 31, 1934 to Elvie and Brooksie Williams Adkison and was a lift time resident of Sabine County, Texas. Laverne is survived by her son Randy Craig and wife Tammy of Midlothian, Texas, her daughter Lisa Smith and husband Danny of North Carolina, her brother Guy Adkison and wife Debby of Carthage, Texas, her sisters, Linda Buckley of Houston, Becky Smith of Pineland and Kathy Little of Hemphill, her grandchildren; Kristen Smith, Lauren Smith, Kylie Phillips and Ashlyn Craig. Laverne is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Craig and her son Michael Craig. Visitation will be from 5~8pm Sunday, June 18, 2017, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10am Monday, June 19, 2017 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel.
