Elray Conn, of Wildwood, formerly of Nederland, Texas passed away at M.D. Anderson Hospital after a brave battle with cancer. He graduated from Burkeville High School in 1950, attended Stephen F. Austin University and Lamar University. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He retired from Dupont Beaumont Works after 42 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed raising his show cattle. He was survived by his wife of 53 years, Veigh, his son, Tim Conn and wife, Angela, daughter, Suzanne Conn Brown and husband, Rick, five grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Conn, Hank, Audrey and Phoebe Brown, brother, Lloyd Conn and wife, Jean, brother-in-law Rush Dickerson and wife, Rose, nephew, Bill Conn and wife, Beth, nieces, Krisi Monsiviaz and husband, Gerard, Juli Anderson and husband, Jay.
