    Notes 
    • When he registered for the World War I draft, he was a resident of Tulsa, OK, was a Machinist, and was supporting his wife and mother. He indicated he was in "bad health", and was described as having blue eyes and brown hair. His Texas Death certificate show he was born in Melvin, Kansas to Samuel Risher and Percilla Millier. His occupation was water well driller. Although he died in San Antonio, he was a resident of Refugio, which is where he was returned for burial.
