    Notes 
    • Funeral services for Emily will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home - Kotas Chapel in Milligan. Pastor Karla Sheffy will officiate the services.
      Graveside services will follow the funeral in the Bohemian National Cemetery south of Milligan.
      Visitation for Emily will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Milligan.
      Memorials are directed to the family.
      Emily Ann Nadherny was born to James Nadherny and Rose (Cerveny) Nadherny on December 25, 1927, at Milligan, Nebraska, and she passed away on May 13, 2014, at Sumner Place in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 2 days. She was one of two children born in the family.
      Emily attended school district #43 through the 8th grade. She graduated from Milligan High School with the class of 1945. Emily lived Lincoln at the Milder Manor and Sumner Place for 22 years.
      When living on the farm, Emily enjoyed raising chickens and gardening, and she always had flowers planted around the house. Emily was also very proud of her Czech heritage and enjoyed making kolaches and rolls for family dinners. She also enjoyed visiting with relatives when she had the chance.
      Emily was preceded in death by her parents James and Rose Nadherny and nephew Marvin Nadherny.
      She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Arnold and Norma Nadherny of Milligan, NE; nieces and nephews Carol and Eldon Ogorzolka and Nancy and Larry Barrow all of Lincoln, NE; great-nephews Daniel Nadherny, Michael Nadherny, and Brian Nadherny all of Milligan, NE; great-niece Jennifer Ogorzolka of Cleveland, OH; great niece and nephew Kristi and Brian Ekasala of West Palm Beach, FL; great-niece Brooke Barrow of Lincoln, NE; great-great niece Avery Ekasala; and many cousins and friends.
