    • Obituary of Milton W. Baldree

      Funeral Services for Milton W. Baldree, age 91, of Silsbee, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the Rosevine United Pentecostal Church in Rosevine with Bro. Homer Looper, Bro. Ronnie Smith, and Bro. Gordon Simmons officiating, with burial following in the Rosevine Cemetery. Visitation will be from the hours of 1 p.m. to 3 p.m Sunday, April 14, 2019. at Rosevine United Pentecostal Church, 8285 Gravelhill Road, Bronson, Texas.

      Milton was born to the late Leola (Lemons) Baldree and William Lee Baldree on February 14, 1928, in Sabine County, Texas, and passed from this life on Thursday, April 11, 2019, in San Augustine. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, his wife of 62 years, the late Betty (Lacy) Baldree who passed from this life on April 2, 2015. He was a longtime barber serving the community some 65 years. Along with the Baldree family, they operated the Baldree nursing home in San Augustine for some 25 years and Baldree Grocery Store in San Augustine. He, along with his family, was known for their good customer service, he also owned Western Auto in Silsbee for a number of years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and taught as a Sunday School Teacher for 60 years, and was a member of the Silsbee First Pentecostal Church in Silsbee.

      Those who are left to cherish his memory include, his son, Wesley Baldree and his wife, Sharon of Silsbee; his daughter, Kim Sowell and her husband, Robert Dean of San Augustine; his beloved grandchildren, Daniel Baldree of Silsbee; Matthew Baldree and his wife, Jordan of Houston and Samantha Graber and her husband Evan of Wichita, Kansas and great-grandchild, Hadley Graber of Wichita, Kansas; his beloved brother, Hollis Baldree of Tyler and beloved sister, Joy Marie Smith and her husband, Ronald of Lufkin.

      He is preceded in death by his parents, Leola and Lee Baldree; his beloved wife of 62 years, Betty Baldree; beloved son, William Timothy Baldree and loving sister, Yvonne Trumps.
