  Notes	Obituary, copied from the FindAGrave memorial created by Keri Fuller Long Sabine Index, Many, La., Nov 1, 1946 The Sabine Index - W. Thornton Parrott 1 Nov 1946 - Last rites for W. Thornton Parrott, age 89, were held 10 a.m. Friday at the Pilgrim's Rest cemetery. Rev. Lastie N. Hoffpauir officiated. Interment was in the Pilgrim's Rest cemetery, under the direction of Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers were: E. M. Patrick, Rollie Patrick, Cecil Parrott, Van Vines, Henry Vines, and T. M. Phillips. Surviving are: sons, Willie Parrot of Many; daughter, Mrs. B. L. Davis, Miami, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. R. L. Patrick, and Mrs. W. T. Alford, both of Many ; and six grandchildren. Mr. Parrot was one of Sabine's oldest citizens having resided here all his life.
