She was born November 11, 1915 in San Augustine, Texas to Albert Mathews and Annie Gilbert who preceded her in death. Pauline was a long time Corpus Christi, Texas resident and retired from the Champlain Oil Co. accounting department. She is survived by daughters: Janet Matthews, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ann Madden, Houston, Texas. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2012, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. both at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Interment will be in Seaside Memorial Park under the direction of Seaside Funeral Home.
