Bob was born January 6, 1921 in Fort Worth, Texas to William Cale Biggerstaff and Emma Smith Biggerstaff. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and later worked in refineries. He and his wife, Betty, attended Fairdale Baptist Church. He served on several church committees and supported several orphanage programs over the year. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Biggerstaff. He is survived by his nephew, David Scales and wife, Linda, of Magnolia, Texas; nieces and nephews, Janet and Lloyd Osborn, Gail Rollins, Barbara and Coalby Brown, Billye and W. A. Scaggs, Don and Bea Biggerstaff, Jerry and Lundie Biggerstaff, James and Libby Biggerstaff; great nephews, Jeff Scales and wife, Diane and Brent Scales and wife, Amy, also of Magnolia, Texas; great-great nieces, Jessica Scales, Mikala Scales, and Rylie Scales; and great-great nephews, Brandon Scales and wife, Kirsten, Jakab Scales, and Christopher Scales, all of Magnoila, Texas and several more great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Biggerstaff will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
