  Notes	Herbert Ezernack, 88, of Pineland, died Thursday evening in the Hemphill Care Center, Hemphill, Texas. Herbert was born in Zwolle, LA, to Martin and Evelyn Longoria Ezernack. Herbert worked as a lift driver for Temple Inland in Pineland where he had lived since 1954. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. He is survived by his wife Laura Ezernack of Pineland, his sons; Joe Dan Ezernack and his wife Cindy of Jasper, Ricky Bob Ezernack and his wife Debbie of Rosenburg, TX, Tim Ezernack and his wife Sussan of Broaddus, his daughters; Denise Horn of Los Angeles, Martha Russell and her husband Roy David of Milam, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Herbert was preceded in death by his son Arnold Ezernack. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM, Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Bural will be in the Jacks Cemetery, Pineland, Texas.
