  Notes	Cass City Chronicle Wednesday, October 23, 1965 Page Four Obituaries Alton Mark Alton Mark, 93, a lifelong resident of the Cass City area, died Friday Oct. 18, at Provincial House after a lengthy illness. He was born April 13, 1892 in Elkland Township, the son of Walter and Myrtle (Karr) Mark. Mark was united in marriage to Miss Mary Ethel Yakes Aug. 26, 1925 in Cass City where they made their home. He was the oldest member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Cass City. He is survived by his wife, Mary; one nephew, Robert Hunter of Cass City; one niece, Lois Arthur of Saginaw; two grandnieces, Carla and Karen, and two grandnephews, Scott and Brian. One sister, Mrs. Esther Hunter, and one brother, Ernest, preceded him in death. Mrs. Mark was taken from Little's Funeral Home Monday morning to the Trinity United Methodist Church to lie in state until 10:30 a.m., time of funeral service. Rev. Joe Robertson, pastor, officiated.
