- Marvin Benton Crocker, known to all as Ben Crocker, passed from this life Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Catlin County [sic-no such county], Arkansas. He was born to Bill and Annette Crocker in Nacogdoches, Texas on June 6, 1972.
Ben is survived by his wife Shirley Crocker of San Augustine; parents Bill and Annette Crocker of San Augustine;children Patrick and Ashley Crocker of Bernard, Texas, Holly Crocker of Palestine;step-children Jason and Tonya of Nacogdoches, Billy Ray and Deloris of Garrison, Julie and Roger of Sand Hill, Karen and Eric of Wells, Joy of Nacogdoches, Randy and Vicky of Center; brother Bill and Ruby Crocker of San Augustine; grandmother Peggy Smith of San Augustine; numerous aunts, uncles,nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-nieces. So many friends that he hunted and fished with. Bro. Bob and Delilah Grass of Garrison and Mike and Lisa Bently of Melrose were some of the Closest friends.
He was preceded in death by his grand-parents Earl and Francis Crocker; grandfather Pat Smith.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating and burial will follow in Little Flock Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alan Eberlan, Ben Eberlan, James Monte, Jerry Dickerson, Red Christian, Matt Caswell, Jonathan Dees.
Visitation will be Friday June 28, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 W. Columbia St., San Augustine, Texas
