  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter May 7, 1997, page 14 Alan Victor White, 63, of Hockley died Saturday, April 26, 1997, following an illness. White was a native of Sabine County and had lived in Hockley several years. White was an electrical engineer for Texas Instruments and Compaq Computer Corporation. Survivors: wife, Ethel Faye White of Hockley; a son, Mark Alana White of Hockley; a daughter, Kimberly Faye Whtie of Hockley; and a sister, Geraldine Rigsby of Ivanhoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. V. and Edna White. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Klein Funeral Home chapel in Tomball. Interment followed with 3:30 p.m. graveside rites at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sabine County. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, July 2009)
