  Notes	From FindAGrave: Ettie Hales,69 of Houston, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Northwest Hospital in Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be Sunday, November 1st at 1:00pm at Old Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville. Officiating will be Brother Fred Sherrod. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home. Ettie was born November 2, 1939 to Wilson & Nannie Lewis Conner in Holly Fork Community in Tyler County, Texas. She was a wonderful mother and wife, very understanding and enjoyed helping others in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hales on November 27, 2007; brothers, Clayton Conner, Albert Grimes and Vertis Howard Conner and her sister Betty Jo Blakeway. She is survived by her son Jerry Lloyd Hales of Houston; brother Leslie Lewis "Bub" Conner of Woodville; sisters-in-laws, Fay Robinson, Maxine Conner, Geraldine Conner, Betty Ruth Grimes, Dell Crawford, Mabel McCormick, and Gertrude Hales; brother-in-law Hugh Hales & wife Betty; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
