    • Rosa Ann Wright Clark, 88, of Hemphill, Texas left her earthly home on June 15th, 2022 to be welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

      Rosa was born on November 8th, 1933 in Rosevine, Texas to Mack Macaulley Wright and Mary Lee Chambers Wright. She married her husband of 61 years, William Terrell Clark, on February 24th, 1953. Rosa and W. T. moved to Port Arthur, Texas while raising their children, but returned home to Sabine County after retirement.

      Rosa enjoyed planting vegetables in her garden and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and always went to church on Sundays. She was a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Clark; her daughter, Shirley Diann Clark; her parents, sisters and brothers.

      She is survived by one brother, Billy Ray Wright; her sons, William Ricky Clark of Hemphill, Ronald Clark and wife, Kathy, also of Hemphill and Michael Clark and wife, Marilyn, of LaBelle, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

      Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Wright and Bro. Gene Lee officiating.

      Burial will follow services in Fairmount Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
