  Notes	San Augustine Tribune, December 26, 2002, Obituaries, page 11 Funeral for Centernarian, Velma CHAMBERS Velma CHAMBERS, 101, of Milam died December 21, 2002 at Twin Lakes Care Center in San Augustine. She was the daughter of Olive and Lee A. CHAMBERS. Mrs. CHAMBERS was a lifelong resident of Sabine County. She was survived by her son Viron CHAMBERS of San Augustine; one daughter, Mittie V. (sic) ISOM of Nederland; six granchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nita CHAMBERS. Funeral services were held at ? p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2002 at New Hope Baptist Church in Milam. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill. The December 25, 2002 issue of the Sabine County Reporter had a nearly identical obituary.
