      Obituary

      Juanita Greer Mouhot, 91, died Friday morning in the Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Mrs. Mouhot was born in Isla, Texas, to George Martin and Clara Pearl Chambers Greer. She moved back to the Isla community thirty-two years ago from Port Acres and is a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Milam, Texas.

      Mrs. Mouhot is survived by her son Dean Mouhot and his wife Valerie of Newton, her daughters Linda Graham and her husband Gene of Hemphill, Sandra Irion and her husband Howard of Nacogdoches, her sisters; Margie Ferguson of Pt. Acres, Ruby Parr of LaBelle, Texas, six grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

      Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Saturday, December 7, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Sunday, December 8, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, Milam, Texas.
