Ruthie was born in Dallas, Texas, to Charlie and Dorothy Moore Murphy. She has lived in Hemphill for forty-eight years coming from Leesville, LA. Ruthie is survived by her husband Thomas Jones of Hemphill, her daughters; Tina Jones of Abilene, TX, and Tara Huffman and her husband Ricky of Hemphill, her grandchildren; John, Jeffery and Sandy, and her great grandchild Kynsy, her sister Linda Vincent and her husband Maxie of Leesville, LA, and her special friend Delores Stewart of Hemphill.
