      Mamie was the daughter of Willis Burn Darby & Mary Wood. Mamie was married twice, first to Clinton Cartwright 9 Dec 1867 - 21 Sep 1906, Columbus Cartwright (1837-1901), his wife Sallie Lane Cartwright, and their son Clinton Cartwright are buried beneath the Angel in the San Augustine City Cemetery.

      Sallie Lane Cartwright was the great-granddaughter of Joel Lane, a colonel in the American Revolution. Colonel Lane gave 1,000 acres to establish the original town site of what is now Raleigh, North Carolina.

      The angel was placed in the City Cemetery in 1898.

      Mamie then married Stephen Ellis Moss on 23 Jul 1913.

      Mamie is buried next to her daughter, Mary Pearl Cartwright, her son Robert Lane Cartwright and her mother, Mary Wood Darby Albea & her step father, Cyrus P Albea.

      Stephen Ellis Moss is buried by his first wife, Lavina Clark, Stephen married Lavina Clark Irvin, 3 Jun 1878. Lavina was married twice, first to Riley Absalom Irvin, married 10 Oct 1848 Washington, TX.
