She is survived by her son Billy Gene Carlton and his wife Pricilla of San Augustine, her daughter Irene Cassidy of Hemphill, sister-in-law Eva Croft of Garland, TX, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012, beginning at 11:00AM until service time at 1:00PM in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Burial will follow in the Griffin Cemetery near Hemphill.
