  Notes	Obituary Bro. Hugh Sparks Funeral Services for Bro. Hugh Sparks, 73, of San Augustine were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994, at the Wyman Roberts Funeral Chapel in San Augustine. Interment followed at Liberty Hill Cemetery. He died Sunday, July 31, at Woodland Heights Medical Center hospital in Lufkin. Bro. Sparks had served 28 years a pastor of the Liberty Springs United Methodist Church in Sabine County near Milam. He was a lifelong resident of the San Augustine County area. Survivors: wife, Inez Sparks of San Augustine, a daughter, Debbie Adkins of Athens; a son H.B. Sparks of Center; three sisters, Frances Maxwell and Betty Jean Cartwright, both of San Augustine, and Claudine Selden of Longview; a brother, Beeman Sparks of San Augustine; and six grandchildren.
