- Jeanette (Baldree) Davidson, age 83, a longtime resident and retired nursing home owner and administrator, of San Augustine, passed away late Friday evening, September 3, 2021, in San Augustine.
Jeannette was born October 17, 1937, to parents Lou T. (Kerr) Baldree and James Loma Baldree in the Rosevine Community of Sabine County, Texas. Jeanette married the love of her life, the late Gary Davidson, and had celebrated 49 years until his death on July 17, 2005. As an active nursing home administrator, Jeanette was involved in the daily routines and overseeing the care of her residents. She was active in the San Augustine Chamber of Commerce, the Red Hat Ladies, served on the Shelby Savings Bank board of directors, and the San Augustine Memorial Hospital board of directors, and was an active member of First Baptist Church in San Augustine for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Noble and her husband Steve of San Augustine; son, David Davidson and his wife Teresa of San Augustine; her grandchildren, Zach Noble and his wife Tiffani, Kade Noble and his wife Kelli, Jacob Noble, Erin Scarber and her husband Brett, and Cameron Noble; her great-grandchildren, Ace Noble, Kala, Grace and Faith Kirkley, Kace and James Noble, Ian and Archer Chase; Aubree, Evan and Eli Scarber. Very special family friends, Becky Haley and Becky Michalec. Along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved Twin Lakes Care Center family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Lee Davidson; parents, James Loma and Lou T. Baldree; and sisters, Wilma Henson and her husband Jack, and Lucene Westmoreland and her husband Jimmy.
Pallbearers will be Zach Noble, Kade Noble, Jake Noble, Whit Michalec, Brett Scarber, and Benny Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Bridges, Phil Sublett, Oliver Boyette, Gil Miller, and the Deacons of First Baptist Church in San Augustine.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in the First Baptist Church, 502 E. Columbia Street in San Augustine. Officiating will be Bro. Jim Moss, Kade Noble, Whit Michalec and Bro. Skipper Eberlan. Interment will follow in the Rosevine Cemetery located on FM 1 in Sabine County, Texas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from the hours of 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in San Augustine.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church, 502 E. Columbia Street, San Augustine, TX 75972, or the San Augustine County Cowboy Church, P.O. Box 280, San Augustine, TX 75972.
