      Mildred Louise Wallace

      Mildred Louise Causey Wallace, 77, of Midland died Sunday, May 11, 1997, in Midland.

      She was born April 29, 1920, in Hemphill as a daughter of the late Nettie Anna (Bragg) and John Sidney Causey Sr. A former longtime Sabine County resident, Mrs. Wallace was a retired food service director at Lubbock Christian College and a member of the Pentecostal church.

      Survivors: husband, Harold R. Wallace of Midland; sons, Gerald Wayne Williams of Ruston, La., Jean Sidney Jones Jr. of Bronson, James Kenneth Jones of Lufkin, and Russell Wallace of St. Marysville, Ga.; daughters, Sharon Jones Baggett of Nacogdoches and Rebecca Jones Cummings of Bronson; a brother, John Sidney Causey Jr of Seattle, Wash.; nine granchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

      Graveside rites were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hemphill City Cemetery in Hemphill with Bro. Glenn D. Morton officiating.

      Arrangements were handed by Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill.
