  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter August 1, 2012, Page 14 Roger Dale Bragg Roger Dale Bragg, 57, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, in the Memorial Herman Medical Center, Houston, after an illness. He was born in Center, Texas, to Herman Bragg, Jr. and Theo Vines Bragg. Roger worked as a chemical operator in the petroleum industry. Roger was a resident of Lake Jackson and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Milam. He is survived by his wife Gayle Bragg of Lake Jackson, his son Sherman William Bragg of Conroe, his daughters Heather Kathlene Bragg of North Ogden, Utah, and Barbara Caren Mesmer of Lake Jackson and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Charles Burton "Buzzy" Bragg of Brazoria and his sisters Liz Lilley of Big Sandy, TX and Debie McCroskey of Jasper. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Theo Bragg, a brother Dennis "Bo" Bragg and a grandson Alex Villareal. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 26, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.
