"A one car collision resulted inthe death of a Milam man around noon Tuesday. According to a witness at the scene, she was driving by and saw a Ford Pick-up truck that had smashd into a tree and was smoking. She got out of her car to check on the driver and could not open the door. As she looked over she saw the body of 84-year old Audra Halbert about 10 feet from the vehicle, she then called for help."
