Burial followed at Plainview Cemetery. Rev. Charles Moody and Rev. Vance Purtell officiated. She died on August 28, 2009 at Sabine County Hospital. Betty Ann Carrico was born in Granite Springs, NY on November 3, 1927. She was a LVN at Hemphill Care Center and a member of the Strickland Crossing Church of God. She is survived by her son, Duane Fike and wife Shelia, of Pasadena; daughters, Audrey Harley and husband, Lonnie, of Pineland and Sherry Beckham and husband, Valton, of Beaumont; brother, Charles Smith of Brooksville, FL; sister, Barbara Harmack of Dade City, FL; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
