Her parents were shown as William Granville Pointer and Alice Josie Holland. She was born on April 23, 1905 in Milburn, McCullough, Texas. Did she and Denton divorce? The following record, from the Rootsweb Texas Death Index, appears to be for Edna A. Kerr. She is listed as single however. Kerr Edna A 02-03-1973 HARRIS F SINGLE Her Texas Death Certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, shows her as the daughter of William A. Pointer and Alice Holland, and indicates she was born in Rochelle, Texas versus Milburn, she was also listed as married, so presumably the death index was in error.
