      Mr. George Andrew "G.A." Shutter, 67 of San Augustine, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, March 11, 2010 in San Augustine, after an lengthy illness.

      A. was born to George Andrew and Myrtle Lee (Williams) Shutter in Hemphill, Texas, October 5, 1942. He had lived in San Augustine for many years. He was a member of Redland Lodge #3 and a member of the Baptist Church.

      Surviving him are sons, Jerry Baird Shutter of San Augustine, Dale Mason Shutter of Nacogdoches, daughters, Connie Jeannen Martin of San Augustine, Colleen Elizabeth Maldonado of Tucson, Arizona, brother, Troy Shutter of Woodville, sister, Dixie Warner of Mansville, half-brother, Donald Cowan of Beaumont, grandchildren, Josey Breanne Shutter, Jayla Brielle Shutter, Jordyn Bailey Shutter, Greg Martin, Haley Shutter, Callie Shutter, Kendall Wall, Justin Holmes, Brodie Maldonado, Alec Maldonado, Maya Shutter. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Jody and granddaughter Maci.

      Services will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Memorial Garden in San Augustine.
      Visitation will be Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
