Max resided in Beaumont most of his life and was a member of Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor. He served his country honorably with the 4th Marine Air Wing, USMC, throughout the Pacific during World War II. Max was retired from Rainbo Baking Company. Max is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Dorothy, and their son Marc; granddaughter, Wyndi Bean and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Donia and granddaughter, Dana Jordan. Visitation will be Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
