Watson, 6 Apr 1862-29 Aug 1884, "She was a kind and affectionate wife, a fond mother and a friend to all" Her footstone was marked L C W Kay Parker McCary, on her annotated transcription of the Hemphill City Cemetery, shows her as the daughter of Jacob Moore Watson and Nancy Curren Day Watson, and the wife of George Franklin Conn, who was buried in Gravel Hill. No indication is given as to why her tombstone was inscribed with her maiden name.
