  Notes	Could he have been married twice? At the time of the 1880 census, he is listed as married to a Fanny, which is indeed a nickname for Frances, and she is the correct age. However, there is an 8 year gap between daughter Emma and her younger siblings, and Emma is listed after the two younger children, and not before them, which is usual.
