    • Obituary

      Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019, in the Attoyac Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Tim Swanson and Bro. Michael Dickerson officiating. Interment will be in the Attoyac Cemetery adjacent to the Church.


      Visitation will be held on Saturday evening, October 5, 2019, from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas.


      Kim was born November 20, 1985, to Debbie (Hogue) Birdwell and Kenneth Birdwell in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was a graduate of West Sabine High School in Pineland, Texas. Further extending her education through Panola College obtaining her L.V.N. license, she was presently working as a charge nurse at Twin Lake Care Center in San Augustine where she so lovingly cared for her patients. She was considered one of the best all-around nurses and was a dear friend to all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.


      Kim was a great daughter to her beloved parents, granddaughter, a loving Momma to her beloved son Brandon, called "Lucille" to her beloved husband, Burl, a dear sister to Kevin and Kellie, a loving aunt to Genna and Toby, a wonderful niece, cousin, and a beloved cherished friend. One of her most pride and joy was her son, Brandon Keith, who was born to her and Burl Gene on May 11, 2004. Kim was of the Pentecostal faith, and dearly loved her Lord God and Saviour.


      Those who are left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Burl Tarver of San Augustine, her cherished son, Brandon Tarver of San Augustine; her loving parents, Kenneth and Debbie Birdwell of San Augustine; her loving sister, Kellie Wiggins and her husband, Matthew of Deridder, Louisiana; her loving brother, Kevin Birdwell and his wife, Katie of Centennial, Colorado; her loving nephew and niece, Toby and Genna Birdwell of Centennial, Colorado; a loving mother-in-law, Susan Everett of San Augustine; beloved grandmother, Myrtle Hogue of San Augustine/Hemphill; her beloved uncles, Marlon (Bubba) Birdwell of Pineland; Michael Birdwell of Hemphill; Doyle Birdwell of San Augustine, and David Hogue of San Augustine/Hemphill; her beloved grandfather-in-law, Rufus Everett of San Augustine.


      She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Kennon, and Pauline (Oliver) Birdwell, and L.J. Hogue; and her grandmother-in-law, Charlotte Everett.
